Eclipse Trader 0.14 Released	05/17/2005

This release was focused on enhancements to the charts section. Eclipse Trader now sports 16 technical analysis indicators (with more to come in the next releases) and an enhanced crosshair cursor that spans vertically over all chart sections and capable to display the scale value of the current position. The Charts perspective was "activated" and can now be used to display charts and perform analysis. A Stock List view was added to display all available stock items (not only the portfolio stocks) and open the corresponding chart.

Localized translations were moved to a dedicated fragment plugin (just like Eclipse does) that should be easier to maintain and to delegate to translators.

The Yahoo plugin was updated to use a new download url that should work well with all stocks. The mappings.xml file was also cut due to the changes of Yahoo's data provider. The news download was also updated due to the changes to the Italian news pages and to download German news.

Other changes were made under the hood to accomodate future enhancements like drawing tools and scripting.

Roughly the next development steps will be the following:

- Add more indicators
- Add drawing tools
- Add a basic scripting language (probably based on Jelly) to allow user-defined indicators
- Add support for themes
- Move to Eclipse 3.1

In addition I'll start exploring the GEF (Graphical Editing Framework) and Draw2D capabilities in order to move the charts drawing to a more capable environment.

Of course anyone that wants to contribute to any of the aforementioned features (or have suggestions for other enhancements and additions) is very welcome.
